The results of the poll of Albanian-Americans for Election 2008 can be found below.  A total of 239 votes were cast.

Please understand that:

1)  This was not a scientifically or professionally conducted poll

2)  The poll was initiated less than a week ago at the suggestion of some members of the Massachusetts Albanian Community

3)  We had to rely on people to forward this email to their lists to get the word out so there is no guarantee that a wide or representative cross-section of Albanian-Americans was or would be reached since we have no idea how many people (or who) actually received the poll

If you would like more detailed data on the poll, it can be generated, but due to the fact that there was not a wide cross-section of votes most of the data would not be especially meaningful -- e.g., to compare votes on the basis of age, education, place of birth, or other demographic characteristics.  Still, if you are curious for that kind of information, let us know, or you can sort it yourself at the above web-site.

Ideally, in the future, wider and more scientific polls can be conducted on a variety of issues relevant to the Albanian-American Community.
