Vlora Restaurant and the Massachusetts Albanian American Society/BESA (MAAS/BESA) invite you to an Albanian Community Cocktail Party on Friday night September 28th at 8PM at Vlora Restaurant -- http://www.vlorabos ton.com -- located at 545 Boylston Street in Copley Square. We have also invited the Boston University Albanian Club and the Harvard University Albanian Club to participate and inform their respective communities about this event. The purpose of the cocktail party is to provide an opportunity for a variety of people to meet and discuss ideas in a relaxed and fun setting with no agendas. Come have fun and hang out, and the more serious stuff will take care of itself (at least we hope so). Ideally, we would hold such cocktail parties a few times per year -- or certainly at least once in the fall after summer vacations -- as a way of jump-starting other community events and just providing a mechanism for people to meet old and new friends. For sure they have some Albanian music, so we'll leave it to you to figure it out for yourself if it will be fun enough to suit your tastes.
